The IST Africa conference series is one of the most important on the continent for Information Society Technologies. SAGrid gave is first presentation at ISTAfrica 2009. The topic is covered at ISTAfrica2009.

For IST Africa 2010, a full workshop is being convened by SAGrid under the banner of 'e-Infrastructure'. The title of the workshop is "Emerging e-Infrastructure in Sub-Saharan Africa". The discussion is at ISTAfrica 2010.
